DIRECT PATIENT CARE PHYSICIANS: RURAL

Between 2000 and 2001 rural Texas saw a net loss of three patient care physicians. The per population number declined from 2002 to 2006. In 2007 the build back began. Both the raw number and the per population number of patient care physicians serving in rural Texas reached a decade high in 2013.
